Piedmont Women’s Center (PWC) is an outreach ministry of Jesus Christ through His Body. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the staffing process including interviewing, hiring and onboarding of employees, call center volunteers, admin volunteers, and resource coaches.
- Perform exit interviews for staff and volunteers
- Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations
- Ensures human resource policies and practices reflect PWC’s values and Board policies, and are supportive of achieving desired culture outcomes
- Works with Directors to create training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities
- Assists the C-Suite in researching compensation for all employees based on market trends.
- Leads in recommending the scope and components of the employee benefit program and oversees the daily administration of employee benefits
- Mediates conflicts that are brought to their attention
- Makes recommendations for dismissal or employee improvement plans
- Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently
- Maintain company organization charts and employee directory
- Oversee yearly performance and salary reviews
- Design and implement employee retention strategies
- Updates the Personnel, Operations, & Medical Policy Manual as directed by the c-suite.
- Works with payroll system to process transactions and maintain compliance with taxing and reporting authorities.
- Responsible for employee and volunteer completion and documentation of HIPAA, OSHA, TORT, and Policy Manual
- Oversees the proper establishment and maintenance of employee and volunteer files
- Piedmont Women’s Center may delegate additional responsibilities.
Minimum Job Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s in Human Resources preferred
Experience
5 years of experience in Human Resources
Ability to build relationships among employees, volunteers and clients
Supervisory Responsibility
Leadership is expected
